Privacy Policy
Last updated August 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Damilola Oliyide, doing business as Droply (“Droply,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Droply, our platform for creators to sell food and other goods through their own storefront at rundroply.com. By using Droply, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, your chosen handle, and your mobile phone number. Droply accounts are created and secured using your phone number.
Storefront and order information. Content you create (drops, items, prices, pickup details) and information about orders placed through your storefront, including buyer name, phone number, and order details.
Usage information. Basic technical data such as device, browser, and log information used to operate and secure the service.
Payments. Droply does not process card payments or hold your funds. Buyers pay operators directly through third-party peer-to-peer apps (such as Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle). We do not collect or store your payment-card numbers.
2. Text messaging (SMS)
When you create an account, you provide your mobile phone number so we can send you account and order text messages, including one-time login and verification codes and updates about orders placed through your storefront. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS consent — will be shared with, sold to, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. The only parties that receive your phone number are the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you have requested (for example, our SMS delivery provider), and they are contractually prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at ddoliyide@gmail.com. Opting out may limit your ability to receive login codes and order updates, which are required to use the service.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to: create and secure your account; send one-time login codes and account or order text messages you have opted into; operate your storefront and process orders; provide customer support; and maintain, improve, and protect the service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the service:
Service providers (subprocessors). We use vetted providers to deliver the service — for example, an SMS provider to send your messages and cloud infrastructure to host your data. They may process your information only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us.
Between operators and their buyers. To fulfill an order, an operator sees the buyer’s name, phone number, and order details, and a buyer sees the operator’s storefront and pickup information.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
6. Your choices and rights
You can access, update, export, or request deletion of your account information, and opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. To make a request, contact us at ddoliyide@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Droply is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
